Zuiderpark in ’s‑Hertogenbosch is a welcoming green oasis just south of the historic city centre, offering a peaceful escape shaped by decades of thoughtful design and renewal. Officially opened in 1958, the park was later transformed in the 1990s to restore its landscape, improve accessibility, and create a more unified, inviting environment. Today it features wide walking paths, open lawns, water features, and playful artistic elements such as wind vanes, a poplar circle, and the whimsical “seven airplanes.” Its large central meadow provides ample space for sports, picnics, and community gatherings, while the northern edge connects seamlessly to the old city walls and the Casinotuin, forming a green corridor into the heart of Den Bosch. With its blend of nature, recreation, and gentle artistic touches, Zuiderpark remains one of the city’s most beloved outdoor spaces.

Zuiderpark is located in the Zuid neighbourhood of 's-Hertogenbosch, spanning 10 hectares along the historic city ramparts near Zuiderparkweg and Coornhertstraat, 5216 area. Opened in 1958, its northern section connects seamlessly to the ancient Bossche stadswallen while the southern part offers open meadows ideal for strolling, adjacent to rugby fields, tennis courts and green paths leading to the Zuid Willemsvaart canal. Just a short walk from Bastionder, Pettelaarseweg bus stops, and Sluis 0 lock, it provides easy access back to the medieval city centre with St. John's Cathedral, Noordbrabants Museum, and lively Parade square.
