Dundee Science Centre

About

Dundee Science Centre is one of the city’s most engaging family attractions, a hands‑on museum designed to make science feel playful, accessible and full of discovery. Its bright, modern galleries encourage visitors to experiment, touch, build and explore, turning complex ideas into memorable experiences. Inside, the We Are Explorers zone introduces physics and engineering through interactive stations where you can test forces, motion and balance. The Medical Marvels area is a favourite, offering insight into the human body with giant models, sensory challenges and activities that reveal how organs, nerves and muscles work together. Younger visitors enjoy the dedicated children’s zone, where imaginative play blends with early science learning. Seasonal exhibitions often spotlight themes such as robotics, space, biodiversity or climate science, bringing fresh content throughout the year. Demonstrations and live shows add energy to the visit, with staff guiding experiments that make chemistry and physics come alive.
