Known as the Marble Church for its elegant Rococo architecture, Frederik's Church is a must-see in Copenhagen. Admire its striking green copper dome, inspired by St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, the largest church dome in Scandinavia. Inside, marvel at the ornate details, including the impressive pine altarpiece and the beautiful frescoes of apostles adorning the dome's interior. Statues of prominent theologians and ecclesiastical figures surround the church exterior, reflecting its historical significance. For a fee, you can climb to the dome's observation deck for panoramic views of Copenhagen. The church also hosts concerts, adding a cultural dimension to your visit. Entry to the church itself is free during opening hours.

Frederik's Church (Marmorkirken) is in central Copenhagen at Frederiksgade 4, 1265 København K, Denmark. Nearby, you'll find Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Danish royal family, directly east of the church. To the northeast is Amaliehaven, a waterfront park offering pleasant strolls. A short walk south brings you to the charming harbor of Nyhavn with its colorful buildings and lively atmosphere. You can also easily reach Designmuseum Danmark to the west and Kunsthal Charlottenborg, a contemporary art center, to the southwest. The Royal Danish Playhouse is also close by, offering theatrical performances. For those interested in history, Rosenborg Castle, housing the Danish crown jewels, is a bit further northwest but still within a reasonable walking or short transport distance.
