The Armed Forces Museum in Tirana is located at Rruga Odhise Paskali, 1001 Tirana, Albania. It officially opened in December 2023 and spans a vast territory in Berzhite, on the national road between Tirana and Elbasan. The museum showcases an extensive collection of around 3,600 military artifacts including weapons, equipment, uniforms, documents, and historical symbols that illustrate the military history of Albania from ancient Illyrian times through Skanderbeg's era, the monarchy, the National Liberation War, the Cold War, and up to modern NATO times. The site features indoor pavilions with exhibits arranged by historical periods and an outdoor area displaying heavy vehicles, artillery, aircraft, and naval equipment. Visitors interested in Albanian military heritage, veterans, students, and historians will find rich educational experiences here. Nearby cultural and historical landmarks include the Tirana city center attractions such as Skanderbeg Square, Tirana Castle, the Old Bazaar (Pazari i Ri), and various museums and cafes, though the museum itself is about 13 kilometers south of the central urban core, so a short drive or transport is advised to link with these highlights.
