Groot Begijnhof Leuven is located in the southwest of Leuven's historic centre, bordered by Redingenstraat to the west, Zwartzustersstraat to the north, and Schapenstraat to the east, postcode 3000 Belgium. This UNESCO World Heritage site, a well-preserved quarter of a dozen streets along the Dijle river with its charming bridges and sandstone houses, lies just beyond the Naamsepoort city gate. Nearby are Sint-Kwintenskerk church, the Botanical Garden Kruidtuin, Wolvenpoort gate, and a short walk to the lively Grote Markt with its Town Hall and St. Peter's Church, Oude Markt cafés, and KU Leuven university areas, blending serene historic charm with central vibrancy.
