Completed in 1893, the building reflects a Neo‑Romanesque style designed by Emanuel Edvard Christie Fleischer and Hjalmar Kjær, giving it a solid, sculptural presence that stands out in the urban landscape. Originally built for the Catholic Apostolic Church, it later became part of the Catholic Church in Denmark and today serves the local Chaldean Catholic community. The church’s warm brick exterior and simple, harmonious interior create an atmosphere of quiet reflection, while its modest size—seating around 300 people—adds to its intimate character.
