University Park is one of Aarhus’ most beautiful green spaces, a harmonious blend of landscape and architecture that forms the heart of Aarhus University. Designed in the 1930s by C.F. Møller, Kay Fisker, and Povl Stegmann, the park is shaped by rolling lawns, small lakes, and the university’s signature yellow‑brick buildings, all arranged to feel like a single continuous space. Mature oak trees—part of Denmark’s largest oak park—give the area a calm, timeless character, while paths and bridges create gentle connections between different parts of the campus. The park is a favourite place for students and locals alike, offering room for picnics, quiet study, or relaxed walks.
