Narnte Teglverk is a historic disused brickworks located between the neighborhoods of Nabbetorp and Sellebakk in Fredrikstad, along Galtungveien, positioned on the outskirts amid wooded areas near the Glomma River's influence. This industrial relic from 1898 anchors a quieter side of Fredrikstad, with nearby draws blending natural escapes, cultural hubs, and urban vibrancy all within easy reach by car or bike. A short drive northeast leads to Gamlebyen, the Renaissance Old Town famed for cobblestone lanes, colorful wooden houses, and fortress walls like Mellomporten, where cafés and artisan shops evoke 16th-century defense life.
