Depoo Gallery, situated in Sofia’s city centre, is a dynamic space dedicated to contemporary art and communication design. Founded in 2020 by multidisciplinary artists Niki Shushulkov, Tedi Liho, and art director Vasko Slavkov, it was conceived as a “depot” for creative ideas—a place where artistic disciplines intersect and evolve. Despite opening during the challenges of the pandemic, the gallery has hosted over 20 exhibitions, showcasing more than 30 Bulgarian and international artists working across media such as site-specific installations, street art, digital works, photography, painting, and sculpture. Depoo fosters collaboration, encouraging in situ projects that respond directly to its minimalist white-cube setting. Its programme balances solo, collaborative, and collective exhibitions, creating a platform for experimental and thought-provoking work. With its commitment to innovation and dialogue, Depoo Gallery has quickly become a vibrant hub for Sofia’s contemporary art scene, connecting local creativity with global perspectives.
