MS Polstjerna in Tromsø is one of Norway’s best‑preserved sealing vessels, offering a vivid glimpse into the region’s maritime and polar heritage. MS Polstjerna is moored at Hjalmar Johansens gate 10, right next to Polaria aquarium in Tromsø's southern harbor area, a quick 10-minute walk from the city center along the waterfront. This historic sealing ship, preserved in a glass conservation building, forms a key part of the Arctic University Museum and draws visitors to its tales of polar hunts. Polaria aquarium stands immediately adjacent, captivating with seal shows, ocean tunnels, and northern lights films—just steps away for a seamless marine adventure. Mack Brewery tempts 400 meters north with guided tours and tastings of local beers in historic halls, perfect after ship exploration.
