The Arctic–Alpine Botanic Garden, the world's northernmost botanical garden, lies on Tromsøya island's northern edge near the University of Tromsø campus at Stakkevollvegen 200, southeast of the main grounds. Run by the Tromsø University Museum, this free, unfenced haven displays Arctic and alpine plants from global cold regions amid mountain vistas, open year-round for serene walks.
