Mili Weber Museum is one of St. Moritz’s most charming cultural treasures, a fairy‑tale world preserved inside the artist’s former home. Mili Weber, known for her delicate watercolours and dreamlike illustrations, designed the house as an extension of her imagination. Every room feels like stepping into one of her stories: curved walls, hand‑painted panels, and soft colours create an atmosphere that is both intimate and otherworldly. Inside, visitors can explore Weber’s original studio, where tiny brushes and pigments still seem ready for use. One of the most interesting facts is her technique of layering translucent colours to achieve an almost glowing effect—visible in her depictions of children, animals, and alpine folklore. The museum also displays her illustrated books, miniature theatres, and whimsical dioramas, revealing her fascination with storytelling and stagecraft. A highlight is the “magic room,” where murals wrap around the walls, immersing visitors in a continuous narrative. The Mili Weber Museum is a whimsical artist’s house in St. Moritz-Bad, Switzerland. It sits on Via Dimlej, in the lower part of St. Moritz near the lakeside spa area. Swiss artist Mili Weber lived and worked here from 1917 until her death in 1978, turning the home into a total artwork with her paintings, drawings, murals, and poetry. The museum preserves her original living spaces, studio, and garden. Inside you’ll find dreamlike watercolors, floral motifs, hand-painted furniture, and illustrated books, all reflecting her fairy-tale style. The garden, designed by Weber, is filled with flowers, sculptures, and painted details that extend her art outdoors. From the museum, walk 5 minutes to Lake St. Moritz for lakeside paths, summer boat rides, and winter ice events. The St. Moritz-Bad mineral springs and public baths are close by, continuing the area’s spa tradition. St. Moritz-Dorf, the main town center with luxury shops on Via Serlas, is 10 minutes uphill by bus or car. The Segantini Museum, dedicated to Alpine painter Giovanni Segantini, is also nearby in St. Moritz-Dorf. For mountain views, the Signalbahn cable car to Corviglia starts just above St. Moritz-Bad, giving access to ski slopes and summer hiking. The Leaning Tower, St. Moritz’s landmark from the former St. Mauritius Church, is a short walk into the old part of town.
