Strumica City Park is the city’s green heart, a spacious urban oasis where everyday life and local history meet. Situated along Boulevard Marshal Tito, just a short stroll from the main downtown area, this sprawling park offers tree-lined walkways, manicured lawns, peaceful benches, and charming fountains. It is a favorite spot for locals and travelers looking to take a quiet walk or relax in the shade. Its central location makes it an ideal base for exploring Strumica's top cultural and historical sights. A short walk from the park entrance leads straight into Goce Delčev Square, the vibrant central plaza lined with lively cafes, public monuments, and the impressive Anton Panov Theater. Right nearby in the city core, history lovers can visit the NI Institute for Protection of Monuments of Culture and Museum to browse ancient archaeological findings, traditional costumes, and regional artifacts.Other historical landmarks sit within easy walking distance, including the grand Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, the 17th-century Orta Mosque, the ancient Machuk urban ruins, and the peaceful Monastery of the 15 Martyrs of Tiberiopolis. Looking up toward the southern ridges above the town, you can spot Carevi Kuli, or Czar's Towers, an ancient castle fortress with ruined stone walls that offers sweeping panoramic views over the entire valley.
