Bar is one of Montenegro's most diverse coastal destinations, combining a modern Adriatic waterfront with centuries of history. The Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle serves the local Catholic community with its modern architecture, while numerous medieval church ruins can be found throughout Stari Bar, reflecting the city's multicultural past.
