Originally built in 1975 as a printing hall for the Schweriner Volkszeitung, the building was transformed into a theater venue in 2022 following the closure of the E-Werk. The renovation preserved the industrial character of the space while adding a semi-circular glass extension overlooking Lake Fauler See. Spread across three floors and 2,000 square meters, MHalle includes a flexible stage with around 150 seats, rehearsal rooms, and event spaces. It hosts a wide range of performances—from drama and ballet to workshops and youth theater—serving as a creative hub for the community.
