It lies near the Demmlerplatz, adjacent to the Schwerin District Court building. Visitors can reach the center by a short walk from Schwerin main station via Platz der Freiheit toward Demmlerplatz, about a 10-minute walk, or by tram and bus to the "Platz der Freiheit" stop followed by a five-minute walk to the entrance. Nearby, there is the Schwerin District Court and the surrounding city center area with limited paid street parking; free parking is available in the nearby Weststadt neighborhood.
