Nestled just outside Colmar, the Base Nautique Colmar Houssen is a summer paradise where leisure and adventure meet. Stretching along a 380-meter sandy beach, with 250 meters dedicated to supervised swimming, it offers a safe and inviting escape for families. The highlight is its aquapark, a 1,000 m² playground on water featuring diving boards, trampolines, climbing walls, and slides, accessible to swimmers from age six. Visitors can also enjoy paddle and pedalo rentals, beach volleyball, and soccer, or simply relax on shaded lawns. Base Nautique Colmar-Houssen is located at 37 Rue Denis Papin, in the northern industrial zone (Z.I. Nord) of Colmar, about 3 km from Colmar’s historic city centre and main train station. It sits just north of the landmark Statue of Liberty roundabout on the road towards Holtzwihr, in an area easily reached by car, bus, or cycle paths from both Colmar and the nearby village of Houssen. The site is surrounded by commercial and leisure facilities in Colmar Nord, including shops, restaurants, and activity venues, making it a convenient beach-style lake close to urban amenities.
