This 16th-century Renaissance structure, built in 1575 on the site of the former Saint-Jacques chapel, features a striking loggia facing Collégiale Saint-Martin church across the square. Nearby, the bustling Rue des Marchands leads to Maison Pfister and House of Heads, while the Koïfhus at Place de l'Ancienne Douane, Église des Dominicains, Parc du Champ de Mars, and scenic canals of La Petite Venise offer easy access to Colmar’s medieval landmarks, vibrant pedestrian streets, shops, and cafés.​
