Museo Egizio
The Museo Egizio in Turin is one of the world’s leading centres for the study of ancient Egypt, housing more than 30,000 artifacts that trace over four millennia of history. The museum stands just a short walk from Piazza San Carlo and close to other key landmarks such as Piazza Castello and Via Roma, one of the city’s main shopping streets. The surrounding area is filled with elegant cafés, boutiques, and historic arcades, and is easily reached on foot from Torino Porta Nuova railway and metro station in about ten minutes.
