Aiete Palace is located at Paseo de Aiete in the upscale Aiete neighbourhood of Donostia-San Sebastián, perched on hills overlooking the city. This neo-classical 19th-century mansion, once a royal residence for Spanish monarchs like Isabel II and Alfonso XII, now serves as the House of Peace and Human Rights amid expansive Aiete Cultural Park with gardens designed by Versailles-trained gardener Ducasse, a children's park, bonsai pavilion, and restaurant. Nearby lie Miramar Palace and Ondarreta Beach along the La Concha Bay promenade, Peine del Viento sculptures, residential paths connecting to central Amara district, and short drives or bus rides to the Old Town (Parte Vieja), San Telmo Museoa, and city centre attractions.
