Ametzagaña Fort is located in Ametzagaña Park on the southern outskirts of Donostia-San Sebastián, nestled between the neighbourhoods of Loyola and Martutene amid wooded hills. These 19th-century military fortifications, now integrated into the expansive urban green space known as Lau Haizeta Park, feature stone walls, bunkers, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city. Nearby lie Otxoki Park trails for hiking, residential areas of Loiola with easy motorway access via A8, and about 4 km from La Concha Beach and the city centre attractions like the Old Town (Parte Vieja) and River Urumea.
