The Viking Planet in Oslo is Norway’s first digital Viking museum, offering an immersive journey into the Viking Age through cutting-edge technology. Located in the heart of the city, the museum brings history to life with virtual reality experiences, holograms, and interactive exhibits. Visitors can step aboard a Viking ship in a storm, witness fierce battles, and explore daily Viking life through a 270-degree cinematic experience. The museum’s award-winning VR film, The Ambush, created in collaboration with Ridley Scott Associates, provides a hyper-realistic glimpse into Viking history. Guests can also interact with life-sized holograms, examine 3D artifacts, and take photos in Viking armor. The Viking Planet offers content in twelve languages, ensuring accessibility for international visitors.
