Institute and Museum of Prilep

Institute and Museum of Prilep is one of the city’s key cultural institutions, preserving the story of Prilep from antiquity to modern times. Housed in a former school building from the early 20th century, it carries the atmosphere of an old educational center while offering a rich, carefully curated museum experience. One of the most interesting facts is that the museum’s archaeological collection includes finds from the nearby site of Stobi and from Prilep’s medieval fortress, giving visitors a broad view of the region’s historical depth.
