La Volière de l’Impérial is located in Parc Charles Bosson on the Albigny peninsula, on the lakeside in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, just east of the city centre and next to the Impérial Palace hotel complex. It sits within the landscaped Imperial park on the shore of Lake Annecy, a short walk from Albigny Beach, lakeside walking and cycling paths, children’s play areas, and the wider Presqu’île d’Albigny green spaces.​
