The Musée PACCARD, located in Sevrier near Annecy, is dedicated to the art and tradition of bell‑making. Founded by the renowned Paccard family, whose foundry has produced thousands of bells for churches and monuments worldwide since 1796, the museum offers a fascinating insight into this centuries‑old craft. Visitors discover the meticulous process of casting and tuning bells, from wax molds to molten bronze, through exhibits, films, and authentic tools. The museum also celebrates the Paccard foundry’s international reputation, including the creation of the world’s largest swinging bell. Musée PACCARD, also known as the Paccard Bell Museum, is located at 215 route de Piron in Sévrier on the western shore of Lake Annecy, around 5–6 km south of Annecy’s old town and easily reached by car, bike, or lakeside bus routes serving Sévrier. Nearby are the lakefront promenade and cycle path that run along the water’s edge, small ports and beaches such as Plage de Sévrier for swimming and watersports, and lakeside villages including Saint-Jorioz, Menthon-Saint-Bernard, Talloires, and Veyrier-du-Lac, all accessible by a short drive or ride with mountain and lake views.​
