Le Pâquier is located along Promenade Jacquet at the northern edge of Lake Annecy in central Annecy, Haute-Savoie, France, forming a vast 7-hectare grassy esplanade directly on the lakeshore. This open promenade serves as the city's main gathering space, offering stunning vistas of the lake's turquoise waters and encircling Alps, with easy pedestrian access from the surrounding streets.​ Immediately adjacent lies the Pont des Amours footbridge connecting to the Jardins de l'Europe park, complete with pedal boat rentals and playgrounds for family outings. A quick walk across the canal reaches Annecy's Vieille Ville old town, featuring the Palais de l'Isle museum, vibrant markets, and the Château d'Annecy, while the nearby waterfront buzzes with cafés and ice cream vendors.​
