Jardim Público de Évora is located at Rua da República 74 in the historic centre of Évora, within the parish of Évora (São Mamede, Sé, São Pedro e Santo Antão), just inside the medieval walls of this UNESCO World Heritage city in Portugal’s Alentejo region. This 19th-century romantic garden offers a serene escape near the Capela dos Ossos and Igreja de São Francisco directly adjacent, with the Palácio de D. Manuel and Ruínas Fingidas within its grounds, plus the Praça 1º de Maio entrance close by. A short walk away lie Praça do Giraldo, the Museu de Artes e Ofícios Tradicionais, Graça Church, and the city’s children’s playground and woods for picnics, blending nature and history seamlessly.
