Jardim Diana is located in Largo do Conde de Vila Flor, in the heart of Évora’s UNESCO World Heritage historic centre, Portugal’s Alentejo region. Positioned directly opposite and behind the iconic Roman Temple of Diana, this serene 16th-century garden offers shaded paths, flower beds, a romantic sculpture fountain, and a bust of local benefactor Dr. Francisco Barahona, with a scenic viewpoint overlooking the plains. Nearby attractions include the Roman Temple itself towering above, Évora Cathedral just a short walk via Rua 5 de Outubro from Praça do Giraldo, the Jardim Público adjacent, medieval walls remnants, and the old water tower, all within easy strolling distance amid the city’s historic fabric.
