AquaCity Poprad

About

AquaCity Poprad is one of Slovakia’s most innovative wellness complexes, built directly above geothermal springs that heat much of the resort sustainably. Its pools are filled with crystal‑clear thermal water rich in minerals, and the entire facility is powered largely by renewable energy, making it a rare example of a modern spa operating with near‑zero emissions. Inside, visitors can explore a wide range of experiences. The Blue Diamond and Blue Sapphire pools are among the highlights, especially in the evening when they transform into a choreographed light‑and‑laser show. The Fire & Water Wellness Centre offers themed saunas, an ice cave, aromatherapy rooms, and a panoramic relaxation zone overlooking the High Tatras. Families gravitate toward the indoor water slides, wave pools, and children’s play areas, while those seeking calm often choose the quieter Vital World with its steam baths and hydrotherapy circuits. AquaCity also features a cryotherapy chamber, one of the first in the region, attracting athletes and wellness enthusiasts. Whether you come for relaxation, fun, or health treatments, it stands out as one of Poprad’s most distinctive attractions.
