The Musée Victor Ruzo is a small artist’s museum in Montreux, on the shores of Lake Geneva in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. It is housed in the former villa of the Swiss painter Victor Ruzo on Avenue de Naye, in the quiet residential area above the main tourist strip, near the Territet district. The museum occupies the house where Ruzo lived and worked for many years, preserving his studio, living spaces and personal atmosphere. Although set back from the main lakefront, the museum is only a short walk or bus ride from Montreux’s central attractions. Downhill lies the lakeside promenade with its subtropical parks, the Freddie Mercury statue and views across Lake Geneva to the French Alps. A brief stroll along the shore leads to the Casino Barrière de Montreux, home to the Queen Studio Experience, and to the Auditorium Stravinski, a key venue of the Montreux Jazz Festival.
