The Egapark Observation Tower is located within Egapark at Gothaer Straße 38, 99094 Erfurt, in the southwest part of the city atop Cyriaksberg (Cyriaks Mountain), which was once the site of the historic Cyriaksburg Citadel. The tower itself is a converted 16th-century gun turret, now offering panoramic views across Egapark and the Erfurt basin. Nearby, visitors will find the vast themed gardens of Egapark, the Danakil desert and jungle house, the German Horticultural Museum, the sculpture garden at the tower’s base, playgrounds, and easy access to public transport with tram line 2 stopping close to the main entrance.
