The Antiquarium of Seville is located beneath the iconic Metropol Parasol (Las Setas) structure at Plaza de la Encarnación s/n in the heart of Seville's Casco Antiguo district. This underground archaeological museum preserves Roman-era ruins including mosaics, houses, streets, and fish-salting vats from the 1st to 6th centuries AD, plus later Moorish remains, all discovered during 2003 excavations. Nearby, the bustling Metropol Parasol offers panoramic walkways and a market above, while Plaza de la Encarnación hosts daily life; to the west lie the Palacio de la Condesa de Lebrija and Iglesia de la Anunciación, with the Cathedral, Alcázar Palace, and Barrio Santa Cruz a short stroll south.
