Basílica de San Pedro is located on Plaza de San Pedro, in the barrio of San Pedro in Córdoba’s historic Axerquía area, a little east of the central core of the old town. The basilica stands a short walk from Plaza de la Corredera and the surrounding traditional streets, with easy access to nearby churches such as San Andrés and La Magdalena, as well as local bars, small shops and residential squares that link this historic neighbourhood to the commercial centre and, further on, the Mosque‑Cathedral and riverside.
