Estátua aos Pescadores de Lagos, often associated with the Statue of São Gonçalo de Lagos—the patron saint venerated by local fishermen—is located on a clifftop overlooking Praia da Batata beach in Lagos, Algarve, southern Portugal, near the historic Ponta da Bandeira Fort at the harbour entrance. This bronze sculpture by Tolentino Abegoaria, erected in 2001, stands on a stone pedestal facing the sea, symbolizing maritime protection.
