This 18th-century Baroque convent, originally Mosteiro de Santa Rosa de Lima built between 1727-1737, sits just outside the core UNESCO zone near Campo de São Francisco. Nearby, the lively Largo do Toural unfolds 100 meters south with its cafés and Basilica de São Pedro, while Igreja de São Domingos stands mere steps away and Chafariz do Toural fountain adds charm within 200 meters. The atmospheric Centro Histórico, Museu da Sociedade Martins Sarmento, and paths to Largo da Oliveira lie 300-500 meters distant, linking it seamlessly to Guimarães Castle and the medieval quarter.
