The University of Tartu Museum of Natural History is located in the centre of Tartu at Vanemuise 46, just off the main university and cultural axis of the city. The museum sits within a compact area of the city centre, making it easy to reach on foot from the main bus stops, the university main building and the Old Town. From the museum, visitors are a short walk from the University of Tartu’s main ensemble, the University of Tartu Art Museum and the University of Tartu Museum, all of which cluster around the historic university core.
