AHHAA Science Centre is located in the centre of Tartu at Sadama 1, right by the Emajõgi River and not far from the city’s main bus station and university quarter. The modern, family‑oriented building is easy to reach on foot from the Old Town, the university campus and many central hotels, making it a convenient stop on a city‑centre tour. Nearby, visitors can explore the AHHAA–Aura complex, which combines the science centre with the Aura Aquatics Centre, offering a combination of interactive physics and biology exhibits and indoor‑pool activities. Close by are also the University of Tartu Botanical Garden and the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum, both popular stops for families and school groups. A short walk further takes you to the heart of the Old Town, including Town Hall Square, the Tartu Toy Museum and the University of Tartu’s main buildings, so guests can easily combine a day at AHHAA with a full itinerary of culture, sport and history in Tartu.
