Location

The Tartu Toy Museum is located in Tartu’s Old Town at Lutsu 8, in one of the city’s oldest wooden buildings dating back to the 1770s. It sits just off the main pedestrian streets, making it easy to combine a visit with a stroll through the historic centre and nearby squares. From the museum, visitors can quickly reach Town Hall Square, the lively heart of Tartu, where street performers, cafés and seasonal markets create a vibrant atmosphere. A short walk takes you up to Toome Hill and the University of Tartu ensemble, where you can explore the University of Tartu Museum, the University of Tartu Art Museum and the surrounding park‑like grounds.
