Református Kollégium Múzeum (Debrecen Reformed College Museum) is a historical museum inside the historic Debrecen Reformed College at Kálvin tér 16 in the heart of Debrecen, Hungary. The college has operated continuously since 1538 and is known as “Hungarian Geneva.” The museum showcases Hungary’s Protestant heritage, including centuries‑old manuscripts, religious texts, antique globes, and one of Hungary’s most important school libraries with over 600,000 volumes. The museum is very close to Debrecen’s main square and top landmarks. Just a short walk away is Kossuth Square (Kossuth tér), where the Reformed Great Church stands, one of the largest Reformed churches in Europe and the city’s most iconic building. The square is lined with shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to combine a museum visit with lunch or a stroll through the city center. A bit further north, in the Nagyerdő area, you can visit the Aquaticum thermal bath, the University of Debrecen’s castle‑like main building, the Debrecen Zoo, the Csokonai National Theatre, and the city’s water tower, which offers an observation deck and hosts events.
