The Agora Science Center is located in the Botanical Garden of the University of Debrecen, in the Nagyerdő area in the northern part of the city. The interactive science museum sits on the university campus and is easily reached by tram or bus from Debrecen’s city center. Opened in 2015, Agora offers three floors of hands-on exhibits on physics, astronomy, robotics, optics, and natural sciences. Highlights include a digital planetarium, science shows, experiment labs, and an observation tower with views over the treetops. It’s designed for all ages, making science fun through play, discovery, and live demonstrations. You’re right in the heart of Nagyerdő Park, so many attractions are within a short walk.
