Szeged National Theatre

Szeged National Theatre is one of the city’s cultural jewels, a grand Neo‑Baroque building opened in 1883 and later redesigned after a devastating fire. Its elegant façade, sculpted ornaments, and richly decorated interior reflect the optimism of Szeged’s post‑flood renaissance, when the city rebuilt itself with architectural ambition.
