The building’s compact façade, with its wooden windows and modest ornamentation, preserves the atmosphere of a small Central European apothecary. Inside, visitors step into a beautifully restored historical interior. Original wooden cabinets line the walls, filled with glass jars, ceramic containers and vintage pharmaceutical tools that illustrate how medicines were prepared before industrial production. One of the most interesting features is the preserved counter, where pharmacists once mixed tinctures and herbal balms on the spot. Old prescription books and handwritten labels offer a glimpse into everyday medical life in Vršac more than a century ago. The pharmacy also displays rare instruments used for botanical processing, reflecting the region’s long tradition of herbal medicine.
