Palace of the Banat Eparchy in Vršac is one of the most distinguished ecclesiastical buildings in the Banat region, a refined 19th‑century residence that reflects both spiritual authority and the cosmopolitan character of the town. The Palace of the Banat Eparchy, known locally as Vladičanski dvor, is one of the oldest and most magnificent episcopal residences of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Located in the historic heart of Vršac, Serbia, at Dvorska 20. Because the palace sits right in the cultural core of Vršac, exploring nearby attractions is remarkably easy. Directly adjacent to the residence stands the majestic Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, a grand 18th-century landmark with twin bell towers. Just around the corner on the same street, you can visit the Pharmacy on Stairs, a historic 1784 building operating as a branch of the City Museum of Vršac that showcases antique apothecary tools and regional history. A short stroll into the central square leads to the main building of the City Museum Vršac inside the neoclassical Concordia structure, as well as the towering spires of Saint Gerhard Catholic Cathedral and the historic Vršac Town Hall. Overlooking the entire town from the nearby hills is Vršac Castle, an iconic 15th-century fortress tower offering spectacular panoramic views across the Banat plains.
