Kallergion 100, Iraklio 712 02, Greece. Housed inside the magnificently restored 17th-century Venetian Basilica of Saint Mark, this cultural space combines historic architecture with fine art. Today, it hosts rotating art exhibitions featuring works by prominent modern Greek artists, historical displays, lectures, and musical events right beneath its impressive timber-roofed hall. Because of its position right on main public squares in the heart of the city, visiting the gallery puts you immediately next to Heraklion's most iconic landmarks.
