The Mumford Theatre is set within the heart of Anglia Ruskin University's Cambridge campus, with its main entrance on East Road, Cambridge CB1 1PT. Visitors can easily reach the theatre by heading along East Road, which links directly to the city centre and key bus routes, while Cambridge Station is about a 20-minute walk away following Station Road and continuing along Regent Street and East Road. There is no on-site parking, but nearby options include the Gonville Place car park, only a five-minute walk across from Parker’s Piece, one of Cambridge’s historic green spaces. In the immediate vicinity are several attractions and amenities: Parker’s Piece offers wide open lawns and a historic cricket pitch; Mill Road’s vibrant collection of independent cafés and restaurants sits just south of the theatre; and the renowned Polar Museum, Scott Polar Research Institute, and the University Botanic Garden are within a 10–15-minute walk.
