About

Located on Sidney Street in the heart of Cambridge, MODO Gallery is a contemporary art space dedicated to bringing bold, relevant, and accessible art experiences to the city. Spread across three elegant floors, it hosts immersive exhibitions and installations by leading and emerging artists, with recent highlights including David Hockney’s vibrant Normandy landscapes. With a sister gallery in London’s Piccadilly Arcade, MODO is helping to position Cambridge as a serious destination for contemporary art while maintaining a welcoming, jargon‑free atmosphere. Through its work with Art and Culture Education CIC, the gallery is committed to engaging families, schools, and younger audiences, ensuring art is open to all. Regular “MODO Live” events invite visitors to explore, question, and connect with the work in an informal setting, making each visit a fresh and inspiring encounter.
