Dianenhain is located in the Malstatt district of Saarbrücken, situated within the Saarbrücken city forest known as Saarkohlenwald. This historic park area, created around 1789 under Prince Ludwig of Nassau-Saarbrücken and designed by General Building Master Friedrich Joachim Stengel, is known for its natural woodland setting and includes the site of the former Dianentempel (Temple of Diana).
