Igreja de Santa Maria Madalena, also known as Falperra Church, is located on Monte da Falperra in the wooded hills just outside the city of Braga, in northern Portugal. It stands at the top of the Falperra ridge within the municipality of Braga, in a scenic rural setting between the parishes of Nogueira, Fraião e Lamaçães and Longos. Nearby you will find other important hilltop sanctuaries such as Bom Jesus do Monte and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sameiro, both a short drive away and often visited on the same route. The area around the church is surrounded by forest paths, viewpoints over Braga, and several small chapels and archaeological sites on the surrounding slopes, making it a popular stop on cultural and nature excursions in the Braga region.
