Mamoa de Lamas is located in the parish of Lamas, about 5 km south of Braga's city center in northern Portugal, on a gently elevated site near Rua da Mamoa flanked by the Rio da Veiga to the north and east. This Neolithic megalithic burial mound, dating back to around 3000 BC, sits amid tranquil rural landscapes ideal for nature lovers and history enthusiasts.
