This striking 1926-1927 Art Deco and Zakelijk Expressionist church designed by architects Joseph Cuypers and Pierre Cuypers Jr. stands on a parallel road to Scheveningseweg, serving the local Catholic community as part of the Maria Sterre der Zee parish. Nearby are Westbroekpark, Kunstmuseum Den Haag (1.3 km), Madurodam miniature park (1.2 km), Museum Beelden aan Zee (1 km), and Scheveningen beach, with tram 1 and buses 21/22 stopping right outside for easy access from the city centre.
